not really. i even admit that there are glaring flaws. your just subjectively picking out parts you want to use against me.


anyway that comment i made in quotes has nothing to do with criticism. a girl fav'd a picture on deviant art and said she loved my style. that was my response.

I think Carr would have to be my favorite at this time, because he seems cool, but either an unfortunate or a lazy slouch due to the look of his clothes. I'm gonna guess that Hurr and the hitman guy are the same person. I like his facial expressions though. I've gotta say the pig is some kind of good work in my opinion, but the side view makes him look very thin in the back/head area, and it almost looks like you could just detach his nose if you wanted to.

Why did society have to ruin Manhunt 2? It had so much potential. I hate you Jack Thompson.

Anyway the pig isn't my design, I was just practicing drawing it. I have to do all sorts of things for my drawing aptitude test for college. I changed bits about him though, and thans for pointing out about the back of the head and the nose, I'll need to work on that.


Carr isn't so much lazy, per se, as he is apathetic to the point where it may as well be a disorder. He simply doesn't give a shit. That changes as the comic grow, but that's Carr at about 24, mid-arch, so he's in his apathetic phase there. He starts off 19, and ends at about 30. Across those periods he grows to accept who he is, and embraces it. He remains an antagonistic personality though.



Edit: Hurr and Lufis are not the same. Lufis is the hitman. Hurr would be somewhat a relation to him however. I can't go into details without killing alot of secrets of my Spider storyline though. It's neat you caught the similarities, because aside from the general shape of the head, and the brow line, I don't even see many similarities haha. Great eye!

pigs front view is great, but you squished him for some reason on the side. he should be the same width on both sides to get that real fatness

Yeah haha, I only realised partway through drawing him that it was right on the edge of the page, and I was like fuck it, I'll finish it this way. It looks hideous though.

As for the front, thanks haha. Rtil thinks something I did is great, which is satisfying to hear. I however find endless problems with it, but that's only natural I'm sure.

I'm working on some action poses for the pig, I ended up making him even fatter overall. I looked at the original drawings I was provided and he just looked much beefier (that's right, ANTIPUN) in them that I originally thought. There's a load of those, so I'll probably scan them soon.


I also have a 4-hour self-portrait on the way. I had to do it for my drawing aptitude test :/

I can't teach you a thing. Just draw your own hand and you'll learn to adapt the little nuances into all the hands you draw. It worked for me.
