if you would actually do your research you'd find out he's not the kind of republican that exists today
he's the kind of republican you would have seen 30 or 40 years ago, and in that day and age you'd probably be saying "he's a democrat, that's a point off for him."

what i mean is that the words "democrat" and "republican" change almost every decade. ten years ago republicans were about small government and anti-war, and now they're considered warmongers and frivolous spenders. they've gone through a role reversal through only two terms.

ron paul is at heart a libertarian or a constitutionalist as he likes to call himself. he wants to fix everything that's wrong with the republican party, and the country for that matter.

and if you think that all the democratic candidates are going to reverse everything that bush has done, think again. socially they are liberal, but a lot of them do not understand economics and will be passive on foreign policy (because they have no experience in it). they will spend more money than bush ever did in office.

Yes because that is just so simple to do! Not sure how comfortable someone would be drivin for hours to get to another state. I mean thats a way to discourage abortion which is almost the same as bannin it. Only time I think abortion is right is if its some fucked up teen. Why ruin 2 peoples lives. And adoption usually doesnt work because by the end of the 9 months, the mother gets attached to it and refuses to send it to another parent even though itd defineately be best!

he was a doctor and has delivered over four thousand babies, so i think you can be sympathetic on his views on abortion. he believes an abortion is right if the woman's life is in danger, but over all the course of his years in medicine, he has never seen that happen. however, his views on abortion should be irrelevant, because he wants to leave that issue up to the state, not the government. if a woman wanted to get an abortion under his rule, she could simply travel to a state that allowed abortions for all women if hers did not. the federal government would have no power to tell the entire nation to live under one abortion law.

i don't think wading it out and adopting is a good plan either, cuz of the attachment thing. i figure the girl would probably drive herself if she had to. and in most cases abortions are 'mistakes' that girls want to get rid of . rape/life endangerment is pretty rare. i'm not a woman so i don't ever vote with abortion as an important issue in mind

I know I'm not not politically savvy nor am I economically savvy but how would those things destroy the country? One thing that bugs me about leaving abortion laws up to states is that if a girl in her mid teens gets pregnant and wants an abortion but lives in the middle of a state that has them banned, how would she be able to do it without her parents finding out? If a girl in that situation doesn't have much money and doesn't want her parents to find out, she might consider getting a backalley abortion which could kill her.

amnesty for 12 million illegal immigrants will give a free pass to those who are here taking advantage of our economy while millions of others have actually waited to come here through the legal process. they are taking away jobs at incredible rates, destroying the borders and ruining the dollar. i don't know how anyone could support amnesty for illegals. if you do, you should talk to an immigrant who came here legally. i'm sure they'd give you a piece of their mind.

universal health care will ruin the integrity of our medical system by outstretching the financial support for doctors and hospitals. its effectiveness will decrease as millions of americans who haven't earned the wages to afford healthcare will flood hospitals and doctors offices. a deficit will widen and our medical system will go from one of the world's most envied to one of the world's worst.

also, if a girl/guy screw up and get pregnant, that's their own fault. they can get an "under the table" abortion if they're smart about it.
