that top one with the buildings - there's not enough contrast between the buildings and the sky, seeing as you used black in both. unless you're going for a stylized/simplified kind of thing (which would rely more on contrast), you're probably best off never ever using pure black for sky

Like what lenko said, if you didn't use black in the background your buildings wouldn't look like they're blending in with background.

also that first picture is pretty good, but the blur on the floating whatever it is isn't doing any good.

well ProxXi is a baseball size orb that has 4 (only 3 of the 4 visible at all times) holes where water vapour is released for levitation. ProxXi is also a hi-tech computer processor filled with information which Linna never leaves behind. It also makes no sounds at all..

i will come up with a better concept..

if you don't like to draw feet , you can just draw those giant techno boots on everyone that look cool. buuuuuuuut if you want good practice, i recommend reference. legs and feet and putting them together while making them work well is not easy to do, it takes a lot of practice.
