i draw everything in flash, so 90% of stuff i post here are designs (characters, settings) that i intend to animate or use.

criticism and pointers are always appreciated

i just noticed the legs are too short
i am dead

The head also looks kind of off

kind of a stiff pose, i'd suggest trying to draw your character in moving positions to see if his anatomy works

ima working on a universal walk sequence. im lazy like that.

the series will be called nustar zoo (pronounced newstar). and its about this guy who gets abducted by aliens and put in a zoo on the planet nustar, and then he makes friends with the nustarian peoples, and a whole bunch of other races.

i decided on this idea cause ill really be free to create unique characters, with all the races and stuff, which should be fun.

he is a lil static. im ok with the walk sequence, his foot snaps out a bit at the end. im gonna reproportion the point where the legs meet though cause it keeps changing.

Two questions...

One: How you draw something in flash an take the picture? like the one frame if I made sence?

Two: FreekC. Could you please take that "no beaners" thing off your sig.

cause its a heavily script based flash, i thought something clean would suffice.

1. copy the frame (frames if its drawn on different layers) into a new flash document, then "File, publish settings" and set it to JPEG, GIF or whatever image format you want. then hit publish.

another way is to go file > export > export image and it should export the image on the current frame. however, if it cuts off check that your image is within the stage size, it cuts off at a certain point.

Thanks. I got 100% for it in my multimedia class. When I get the chance Ill upload the flash (I have to warn you. it's my very first flash so it's not all that great).

atleast your beginning flash with skill in art. i did the opposite. i began animating whilst drawing like a 4 year old.
