thanks. i used to suck at backgrounds but i started using the technique of changing the outlines of unactive objects (not being animated) to a darker colour of itself, rather than black

lmao that looks actually not bad.. I think! I don't know a lot of stuff about hands, it looks cartoony and alright. The lines might be a little too straight but I believe that's ok.

don't ever do straight-ahead unless you're doing something ridiculously pompous and avant-garde. pose-to-pose animation is much better for working out timing and the like.

Aye, pose-to-pose is the way to go. Even people who blow at animation, such as myself, key poses in ahead of time. I used to do straight ahead, and while it was probably quicker, it looked nowhere near as good. Make sure you spend alot of time checking back and forth between frames to get good volume consitency. Onion skin, baby.

i onion skin religously. tbh i had no idea what pose to pose was, i just looked up a few tutorials and it does look a whole lot more useful

and can anyone reccomend any descent cartoony music resources ng suck for that kinda thing its all techno and mario remixes. like real cartoon orchestral loops/songs
