I tend to doodle on whatever piece of scrap paper I can find, so the bunch of numbers was me tallying up a score.

I like Chriselda, especially since I just ripped her from my TF2 script, but the more I work with Samantha, I'm beginning to like her more as I continue to flesh her out. I'll be sure to screenshot or link to her profile post/thread/thing and some RPing to show you how the Tegaki RP works, where you basically take turns drawing panels of a scene with your characters, like an interactive comic book.

So, yeah. The only real reason why I draw in Tegaki a lot (and doodled in those tiny comment boxes) is to someday be accepted into Tegaki RP's I like so I can art RP with my friends~ I used to text RP a lot and it helped my writing, so I look forward to improving on my own art while RPing with them. Most Tegaki RP's have an application round where they decide which characters they would like in their RP (based on art ability and interest) and better RP's tend to be very picky about who gets in.

@@; Some RP's don't accept characters because the art style contrasts the mood/style of the RP too much. In example, I have seen several RP's strongly discouraging anime style applications/characters. I'm not entirely sure why Chris didn't get accepted, but there's a possibility that she didn't get accepted due to the art style (in hindsight, she doesn't look like a Rapture citizen at all) and some bio detail conflicts, thus Samantha being drawn in a less stylized style.

JANET (27) steps off the bus and shields a paper-filled
folder with her purple raincoat. She is mousy and slips, but
clings to the nearby street light with her free arm as the
bus revs off into the pouring rain.

She looks on with mild annoyance. She regains her balance
and draws the hood of her coat over her head.

The suburban neighborhood is still. Raindrops pelt the
sidewalk. Janet is alone.

Janet shoves her free hand into her pocket and flinches when
she finds that it's empty. Janet keeps searching herself and
occasionally thumbs through the folder.

A FIGURE across the street looks on. He wears a black long
coat and blends in with the dark. A large black umbrella
shields him from the rain.

Janet finds a scrap of paper and sighs in relief. She
notices the figure. She stares at the figure until he walks
away and vanishes.

Janet stands paralyzed beneath the street light. She hugs
the folder tightly and scans her surroundings. The rain
limits her visibility. She checks her watch. She is nervous.
She takes a deep breath and walks briskly away from the
safety of the light.

EXT. CHATNAM STREET - NIGHT

Every so often she looks across the street to look for the
figure. Nothing.

Janet walks under another street lamp and the figure appears
in the middle of the street before her eyes. Startled, she
almost drops her folder.

The figure begins walking towards her.

Janet hesitates, then runs.

The figure disappears.

EXT. CHATNAM STREET - CORNER - NIGHT

Janet makes it to the street light and looks around
fearfully for the figure. She cannot find him.

On her guard, she searches her persons with haste until she
pulls out a cellphone. It slips out of her hand and falls
onto the street. She cautiously crouches down and reaches
for the phone. Her eyes dart everywhere. The phone is a few
inches too far from her and the light. Janet stretches her
arm as far as she can.

The cellphone is between the figure's feet.

Janet recoils and drops her folder, sending a flurry of
papers everywhere into the drenching rain.

The towering figure takes a few steps towards her.

Janet snatches up whatever papers she can, shoves them into
her folder, and scrambles away.

The figure glides after her.

EXT. HOUNDSTOOTH STREET - NIGHT

The street is completely dark, save for a beacon of light
hanging over a doorway. The building is at the very end of
the street.

Janet stumbles and clambers with the papers. Loose leaflets
fall from her grasp. She keeps her eyes on her destination
until the light suddenly flickers.

She grimaces at the sight of the figure flying alongside her
before it dissolves in the rain.

The light blinks. Raindrops stop hitting her and she looks
up. The figure floats above her with his umbrella.

Janet shields her head with the folder and what few papers
are left. The wind tears it from her hands and the figure is
gone. She continues to race for the light.

The light flashes for one last time before fading. Janet
closes the final stretch with a leap towards the door.

The figure rises up from the dark.

Janet's face contorts into terror as she flies into the
figure. She is sucked into him upon collision.[/blockquote][/codebox]

A pretty point-and-click game I voiced for released today~ The character I voice for is Fio (the blond girl in the picture). "Eternally Us" is freeware, so you can download it without it eating your wallet and it's a pretty short game too.

Working on a Bioshock-inspired project~

Rough stuffs before gallivanting to Photoshop to practice lineart in the summer!

Whenever I look at my old stuff on the first page (and in my old thread), I think to myself: "Whoa, I used to draw THAT badly!?"

I'm amused and thoroughly confused at how I managed to accidentally mimic Rina-chan's voice and speech pattern (for a little bit, like 2 lines before my tomboy speech pattern breaks it all) during a recording for an audition.

Apparently, it's just a matter of how you set your mouth for her rather than changing cadences and whatnot.

I think with enough practice, I can mimic plenty of other voice actresses. I will have a field day if my voice gets deep enough for me to mimic Tress MacNielle, especially that iconic laugh for a bunch of her characters.

Hahaha, whenever I talk about live recording sessions, people don't know what I'm talking about and whenever I invite people to sit in on me recording for projects, I get distracted very easily and sometimes I gotta shoo people away because it's "a secret" the producer(s) told me to keep (non-disclosure agreement of sorts).

So, I decided to record myself recording for an audition for a flash animation (Castlevania Quack Edition) and decided to upload it after the audition finished.
