it's really affordable now. the monitor i have is an ASUS with dvi/hdmi and it was only $200

this is what my macbook has. the pc i built has a monitor that is 1200x1024, and the new iMac i just got, which I just installed windows 7 and tf2 on has a resolution of 2560x1440. TF2 looks really nice on it.

not really, 1920x1080 actually gives you a tactical edge because you get a wider fov
