Backalleys TF2 Screenshots

The hotkey to take screenshots in game is F5, and the screenshots can be found in your "harddrive / program files (x86) / Steam / steamapps / username / team fortress 2 / tf / screenshots" folder as targa image files (.tga).

you'll want to find something to convert it to a jpeg or something, if you find a good program for that post it here. i'm lazy, so i just took a screenshot of the picture and saved it, but the quality was pretty bad

is there a way you can tell tf2 to not save it as a tga or do you have to pop them all into something like irfanview?

I couldn't figure out a way to have the screenshots save as something else, so I just opened up those .tga's in Irfanview alright.

rtil, as a sniper killed me and someone from my team, a spy, was behind him half way through attacking him with the knife in the back but sadly i didn't think of screencappin' it.

i don't have a lot of funny screenshots but these are my favorite. this first one is bug




this is what the game could look like when i play it, but the 4xAA was making that stall thing still happen, so i had to turn it off. hopefully when i upgrade to win7 soon i can turn it back on.

my game looks horrible, and runs slow, has the facial animations disabled and glitches out all the time when I run configs trying to raise the fps, this often results in comically terrible graphics resulting from broken code, I have only taken 2 screenshots of these because taking screenshots kind of messes my game up
this isnt just a dark map it is in an arctic cp (mostly stark white snowy textures) what has happened is that all of the graphics save for the sky box have gone to black silhouette mode where in an enclosed space the ONLY thing I could see would be fellow players, objects and my own viewmodel jumping around in a void despite this I still played the level for about 20 minutes

whats going on here I think is that all of the character models gave been mapped with the flaming version of their textures or something but all of the players I saw either red or blu looked like these big orange green globs I had to be really close to be able to tell the teams apart

this is bug after I hit him with the luckiest huntsman shot you could ever imagine

and this is a glitch
