I'm assuming I'm not the only one that's seen it.

I think it's a fantastic film that breaks from the unspoken rules of 3D features. I'd recommend this movie to ANYONE, even if you hate 3D cartoons, because this is so completely unlike anything I've ever seen before and I'm still at a loss for words on how awesome this film is.

Also, Presto ROCKS.

alright cool i thought it was gonna be good, ill go see it
I have more of a life writing this review at 1145 pm than you guys do making these movies. . .

yeah it was really good, imo the best pixar film ever made. its G rating and limited dialogue proves that cartoons aren't just for kids and acting always triumphs over loaded scripts

I always get frustrated or sad I guess when people try to say otherwise to this statement.
Oh, wretched ephemeral race ... why do you compel me to tell you what it would be most expedient for you not to hear? What is best of all is utterly beyond your reach: not to be born, not to be, to be nothing. But the second best for you is—to die soon.

pixar has some meaty balls for making this movie and releasing it in theatres. especially with the current culture animation is in these days.
neither wall-e or eve really have faces, but you always knew what they were feeling

i loved moe, the little cleaning robot

that thing was on a whole nother level of cute

edit

also did anyone else see Rex from toy story in this?
he was in it for a split second

i'll bet there's alot of 'cameos' in walle's little cubbyholes that he keeps all his stuff in

My aunt recently pointed something out to me.

No wonder Wall-E's head structure seemed so familiar.

ZekeySpaceyLizard

your aunt sure is observant

its not like the WHOLE INTERNET has been drawing that comparison since the first time any screenshots of this film came out more than a year ago

>:C

Sinitron

man the visuals are amazing its almost as good as a ps3 game LOL!!!!!!! (im going to watch it)

Actually, now that I think of it, some of the enemies in R-Type Delta look similiar to Wall-E. >_>

lmao

either way short circuit was an awful movie and if the design was ripped off it was put to better use in wall-e

i think this movie is going to do a lot of good for the animation industry and it can teach people a lot of lessons, namely that an entertaining film doesn't have to be rated PG or higher and you also don't need a script filled to the brim with stupid gags and hollow characters that crack jokes every 3 seconds

there also wasn't any token female black character in this movie going "uhhh-huhhhhh" while bobbing her head back and forth every 2 minutes so that was nice

the only criticisms im hearing are reviews along the lines of "amazing first hour, goes downhill, gets way too preachy and dark for a kid's movie, still good"

dont know if those are valid or not but whatever im still seein it

well if they're complaining about wall-e being preachy they should go see the happening

honestly why does it bother people unless they're already grossly overweight or throw trash out their window on the highway

oh wait

!

I didn't find it preachy at all. There's a difference between DON'T DO THIS and showing what happens if you do it (the former is what I consider to be preachy). Never does the movie directly say "Pollution is bad!" or "Exercise!" or "Hello Dolly is a great musical!" but it just shows it.

The first hour was also amazing, but I also liked the second part. The first hour is very experimental-never-been-done-before awesomeness, while the second act is the "standard" Pixar fare that I love.

And who the hell says that cartoons are only for kids*?

most people over the age of 16

LordZeebmork

I didn't think Pixar could do things that don't suck
let's all set our phasers on "boring"

white acid

it was amazing. I also noticed some hidden morals.
like the "I never noticed the pool" tid bit you could relate to how people aren't noticing earth's problems
or the president of BnL=George W. Bush
