Quote from: Squeefhere we go again making everything a contest mmmmmm

people are more talented than others in different aspects, it's a fact of being human. Some will be naturally adept at drawing, but they might lack some other talents, but thats just my opinion;;;;

Agreeing with Squeef

Quote from: CykeI vote that the scissors name be Sussois, like something pseudo-French!

I dunno how to even pronounce that

OH and here's a small flash preview thing or whatever.

Oh, wretched ephemeral race ... why do you compel me to tell you what it would be most expedient for you not to hear? What is best of all is utterly beyond your reach: not to be born, not to be, to be nothing. But the second best for you is—to die soon.

I gotta say the stuffs you draw looks very interesting. I like that Jack in the box.

QuoteI hate you Cube, your 6 years younger then me and draw 6 years ahead of me. :(

Damn right :(

I love your color works. One of the best artists here for sure. Since you can really go crazy with your style without over doing it. Well, I guess you CAN over do it, but you don't.

bcube

The Gambler again.

I dunno why, but usually when I redraw characters, they get a less elastic form.

are you serious

i mean she isnt bad or anything i like a lot of her stuff but seriously

i mean the 1st picture of the winged guy had fucked up out of proportioned legs, the second one had fucked up legs too but in the oppoiste way

the first one has one knee way lower than the other

the second one had extremely short legs and a weird stance

her drawings are polished and shit but that doesn't mean they are that good

texas

does proportion really matter when you aren't trying to draw realistically

Thanks for your two cents because I like to improve on what others say and getting alot of praise is nice, but criticism ( constructive, mind you) is better.

As for the first drawing, yeah, I wasn't trying to make it too realistic, although I see what you mean.

For the second one, Yeah, I noticed something was up with his legs. That's why I posted it for criticism

Whenever i see a person in my range who manages to bring charm to the audience, i feel like a failure. Every time. Yes im depressive indeed.  BUT HELL NVM ASFASFDKJGBAKS,BFDMJHNBA"!§¤r%t#!"%t#¤#¤%!"¤%¤!#%¤!"%#¤

Good drawings BC. Im starting to admire your style, it really brings life to your characters. I can see how serious youve been with your artistic contents since from the start. Keep that up.

adamant

honestly i dont really like it

maybe its because it reminds me too much of snapesnogger, foofoobob and all those other dA shittrs with the psuedo-cartoon psuedo-anime style

i mean i shouldn't be comparing you to them since that's completely unfair for you, but i dont know i just cant shake that feeling

but it would be nice to see you animate your characters like actual rubber

I actually haven't even seen their art so I dunno really who they are. I haven't gone in dA since forever ( I just recently cleaned up my account and restarted)

Oh well, I suppose an opinion is an opinion.

I actually don't like criticism on my art constructive or not!!

I think it's pretty gay to get a bunch of people to sit around and go "Well I liked this, but this was wrong, and I think you should have done this.." but yeah.

do more paintings and animation!

*I should probably re-word that so people don't think I'm just too sensitive to handle being told I suck or some shit.

No I just don't see the point when people are just saying the same things over and over, and usually the artist tries to defend it by saying "yes I knew that but heres a list of reasons why I didn't try and fix it:" and it just seems like a big hassle to me.

Actually being helped by someone's advice though is always great it just seems like its harder to come by.

I dont know this post is probably really confusing and shitty!!

For the criticism thing, I can see what you mean ( I mean I used to not like it) but after a while of only getting " woah, cool this and that" on Sheezyart it was boring and I realized that if I didn't notice what was wrong on my artwork then I wouldn't improve that much.

Also, I don't paint because I'm not good at it... I'll probably paint something eventually.
As for animation, I'm animating something right now
