For the criticism thing, I can see what you mean ( I mean I used to not like it) but after a while of only getting " woah, cool this and that" on Sheezyart it was boring and I realized that if I didn't notice what was wrong on my artwork then I wouldn't improve that much.

Also, I don't paint because I'm not good at it... I'll probably paint something eventually.
As for animation, I'm animating something right now

No honestly I like helpful advice that advances the artist, artistically speaking, or something to that effect. For instance, because of showing my art on tba and getting tips from mrat and rtil, I have undergone a complete style change. And after being exposed to non-anime art more deeply than in my past I have started drifting away from the warmth and safety of Japanese anime shit you know what I mean? hmm.

I dont know what possessed me to rant on like I did but I just felt something had to be said even though im kind of saying the same thing taylor is saying  

And now for something completely off topic; I need to start drawing more again for some peculiar reason I haven't really drawn anything on paper in about... I don't know 6 months to a year or some shit? I used to go through reams of paper any given month, thousands and thousands of shitty drawings lie in my graveyard but I've just... Lost it. Maybe I don't have the time for it or something I don't know. It makes me sad is all ):

This is the reason why I don't go around dA (probably applies to sheezyart as well) so much anymore because most people are too nice (and I don't want to be asshole back to them.) I only use it to store stuffs I doodled.

As for criticism, I thought its pretty handy and the reason I stay around here is because people actually got the gut to say in front of you that "your drawing/flash sucks" rather than "oh that's quite cool."

And Taylor, he's just being straight forward about stuffs I think.

It's been forever since I've used colored pencil so sorry if something looks off ( + the scanner) . Last time I used colored pencil was when in the other colored drawing in here. Which was like half a year ago.

The only tip I'd like to give you is that your characters dont look characteristic enough.
Look at that Liir character over there.
With all respect, but that could be anyone.
He has boring, not-unique eyes, a boring, not-unique nose, a boring not-unique chin etc. etc.
There are allot of artists on this big silly internet of ours that make thousands of characters that would look exactly the same if it wasn't for their clothing and hairstyles.
I think you should avoid becoming like that.

I'm not saying that you should make all of your characters look super realistic or super ugly, but.. you know.. don't make them all look like mannequin dolls

My favourite chick here is probably Michelle, actually.


BCube has the best poses, probably, and Cyke has the most unique looking work out of any of us, well except maybe WPS or Zekey, but Michelle has, to me, the most interesting characters and just atmosphere in her drawings out of the girls.
