Pixar seems to be really taking themselves in a new direction. Funny that they're the ones who really made 3D animation what it is today, and now they're doing other stuff.

I heard it was Live Action as well

And once again, it's not for sure that UP is going to be 2D, it's simply what was said. Very, VERY few details about it have been made available to the public.

This might not even be a screenshot, it might be concept art or something.

If they're making something 2D though, it's sure to be good. Anything Pixar does is good. Except Cars.

One Man Band may be my favorite Pixar short. and Cars wasn't bad, it just wasn't nearly as good as Pixar has been known to be.

It's also the only Pixar movie that I haven't seen in theaters.
