What kills me about the fat acceptance movement is like

they think beauty standards will just evaporate.

Everyone will just be like fucking Audrey Hepburn-level of attractiveness.

What they don't get is that some people are just more sexually appealing than others, chubby or not.

It's just a fucking fact, even if a lot of it is cultural.

If they want to do actual damage and make beauty standards more naturalized, they'd be better off attacking celebrity culture and tabloids. But instead: "Oh it must be videogames fault!" or some shit.

While your point is valid, it doesn't hold as much weight with me as does the fact that these people:
advocate slowly killing yourself and in the process make yourself into a literal hambeast who can not walk, who can not live, who can only cope with things with food, and who can only blame others for their own faults.

fat acceptance existed before tumblr but thanks to memery shenanigans it's gained a lot of traction over the last few years

i get the whole shaming angle, i mean it's probably tough to be overweight and deal with the social baggage that comes with it

but the HAES/genetics stuff is really weird. to me it just comes off as trying to find any excuse to stay fat or argue it's in any way beneficial to the human body is nothing but pure delusion

I think the whole problem comes from poor definitions of what constitutes "fat." Like it's totally subjective. There are just as many types of "fat" as there are body types. The women both of you draw could be considered "fat" by some standards. SJWs don't get that. They conflate Bettie Page with people whose walls have to be demolished to extract their corpses.
