Thanks 4 all the feedback dudes! its always welcome here except when I draw with a mouse!

This next one is important. This is basically what I have so far. Im redoing it for a final project that I have a couple weeks on.

This is another 3D animation. Tell me anything I should improve on preferably in an order of most necessary to least. I'm pleading for constructive criticism here. What's its biggest flaws? Even the minor ones. I just have a time frame to keep in mind thats why I was the biggest problems to come first.

the timing and pacing of it felt awkward, i also think the characters could have been more lively. their movements felt robotic

Haha. Well I like to revolve around magic when animating which is why I insist on not animating everything on 1s.Its my movie its my style buddy

well i liked the premise, kinda disappointed the characters didnt really have faces and that the guy couldnt talk. i think it would have helped a lot to be able to add facial expressions and such to them. but i know rigs take forever and you were probably on a huge time constraint considering the fact there were no textures

Pretty much. Was workin 3 jobs n shit. Even with no textures/facial rigging, my project was still 2 hours late. After pulling 2 all nighters in a row the night before.

So mostly just wanted to focus on the animation of the characters. But uhh even that I had to take some shortcuts with. Learned a whole bunch though about wire deformers, controllers, and blend shapes!

Just me trying out unfamiliar mediums. First is colored pencil (outlined in charcoal) 2nd is conte.

Muscle studies. Free pizza point to the first one who guesses all 5 different mediums I used! (A different medium is used for the arm, leg, back torso, front torso, and body)

conte is fun. it's like charcoal but without a lot of the mess and broken tips

Bunch of greek sculpture I had to draw fairly quickly




Now this one I would really appreciate some feedback on. I need to learn so much more with colors (Also part of it was me running out of time for the deadline). I took a sculpture from the renaissance and put him in modern times. Turned him into a raver. But as you can see, the color leaves much to be desired for. Was thinking of redoing this one in photoshop/corel painter. Any suggestions?

well its certainly colorful, not too sure abou tthe composition and the use of black. might be cooler to see him from top-down instead of straight on with a lot of awkward empty space between him, the 2 other people and the blobby crowd in the background

huh...that could work. For the class I wanted to make sure it was very recognizable as the Roman figure statue I was reproducing. But a different angle might work. You think the whole roman statue thing might be lost in the process however? Because then it would just be a picture of some random rave

well it could work from that angle but it just feels flat and the lighting is inconsistent. also i think a roman statue would look out of place in a rave. unless you meant you're going for the contraposto pose
