I didn't pick the map, you didn't make me shut up, I'm not trying to be funny, I don't give a shit who likes me or not, Portal and Portal 2 are both good, solid and fun games in terms of gameplay and the 'epic jokes' are limited to 'the cake is a lie' which is a part of the game universe and some smartasses decided to spam it everywhere, and DNF isn't an amazing game but it sure isn't a shitty one either.

It has regenerating health which makes me very sad.

Like I would need one hell of recommendation to consider getting it. Or a sale. If Valve does a steam sale on it, I'd probably get it. Provided I'm still around when it happens.

And DNF was pretty fucking disppointing sadly. It was also too short, one hour for every year it was in development.

depends entirely on what you expect from it

DN3D fans will be crying themselves to sleep because it's nothing like DN3D at all

most shooter fans will be frustrated by the fairly slow pace during the opening segments

there are a few parts that just aren't all that fun to go through, like when you constantly have to get gasoline for the monster truck (like in the demo)

on the flipside, there's a lot of silly little things to do, some pretty cool designs (octabrains and the cycloid emperor were my favorites) and you can drive a fucking FORKLIFT motherfucker, carmageddon style, for a few minutes

if you can play it for what it is, without expectations, it can be very enjoyable and fun, but if you're expecting the game of the century... you're not getting it

it has a lot of problems, but the most severe ones are stability and compatability issues which need to be patched
