the money hasn't actually been taken yet. if he betrays the trust of his financial backers, most of them will pull their money - including myself.

he's expressed that he will be using most of the funds to make kaboing, and most of the people behind it are more interested in that than his sub-par cartoon pilot.

if he goes back on that, then he's obviously a liar and doesn't deserve any of the money to make a cartoon he could make on his own for free just as easily. but i like his idea and i've enjoyed his work for years, so i'm giving him a chance.
