tf2 has been the single best investment in a game i have ever purchased. you can never really get sick of it and it always gets updated with new maps, weapons, game modes.

so you actually think that playing makes you unproductive

if you stop playing, you will start watching movies/shows

if you stop that, you will start doing something new

until you don't have anything to blame anymore and just have to face the fact that you are lazy

steam might be great now but when valve decides to turn it off/can't keep it running anymore/there's a long power outage (this has happened twice already) everyone's going to hate it

University itself has managed to kill my want to play video games. Especially TF2, which was blocked by the networking filters, so I guess I never got into the actual playing of the game, just the fanon around it.

Can I blame TV Tropes for the things that never got finished?

maybe, but movies don't take up nearly as much time as videogames, you get a movie and watch it for two hours and you're done with it usually forever. plus I think movies inspire me to be more artistic, but that's just me.
