well even the guys' body is messed up, especially his arms. the ground is really disorienting too. if you want to practice perspective, i would start with things perhaps a little less amibitious than these extreme lens top-down shots. "coming at you" shots can be more interesting and make for better compositions imo

because i see some animators simulating a fish eye lens and shit. that just boggles my mind how do they do that shit

that's how I would do it

i don't think it's smart to start trying stuff like fisheye until you have a solid concept of anatomy and normal perspective

the great thing about stuff like fisheye though, is that it works great with cartoons since exaggeration is so important to animation

that is by far the best use of fish eye i've seen. in fact i cant recall another animation with such a fully realized 3D perspective (all environment and no actual characters) all fully animated using only traditional FBF. granted they had to have used a reference but my god what a lovely film

It's not really a huge deal to me, I'll learn perspective when I get my first college art class, I'm just havin' fun for now.

taking art classes doesn't mean you're going to magically learn things, you'll have to apply yourself in the same way you've probably taught yourself about art and animation. you can take a lot of things or nothing from school depending on whether it's any good or not and if it's something you're really passionate about. in short don't use "i'm not in art school" as an excuse for something lacking refinement. there are kids that have been going to my school since day one and they still suck.

in any case the cartoon one is way better than the more realist one

I gotta hand ya some major props for being able to do such good stuff with only a mouse. I dunno HOW I survived for that long until I got my tablet screen a couple years ago. Haven't seen any so far that I haven't liked, nice job.
