Logo's aren't like characters you can't half-ass them in a sketch-tone and expect brilliant results

I hope you don't mean that you can halfass characters and make them look good. Cause if so, I strongly disagree. Characters needs as much planning as everything else.

i didn't mean half-ass the character concept, I meant the technique used to draw them. You can get relly neat looken characters by being sketchy and erratic, hey kina like gestural drawing@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

i liked thin, crisp lines. now i want my stuff to look more stylized though, so i'm just doing whatever. and for some reason i feel like doing logos lately...
