flash vector stuff

the reason ive not been contributing to anipedia for a few days iiiss cause i've been drawin in flash so much lately.

the ninja is from ninja gaiden, and its pretty obvious i used a concept. for the skateboarder i traced an anatomy over a pose then drew all my own detail and parts over that and for the soldier i found a side on picture of an m4a1, did my best at drawing it fp and then drew the soldier over it.

anyway my aim with all three was to draw something that looks good but has such a basic structure in its shading and lineart that it would be possible to animate.

so yeah, creating simple animations from each (ninja standing, or falling to that position, soldier shooting, reloading maybe) is my next task.

oh boy.

and yeah, sparta one just completely traced. i was just... bored.

oh and finally, i got a subscription on deviantart. i was sat there with my visa card and saw it was only £3.89 for 3 months, so what the hell i bought it. also ime get an adcast when i can be assed creating the image. so yeah, if you wanna be featured in my blogs (which i can do now, wooopdefreakindoo) just go to freekc.deviantart.com and let me know ^^

Better than what I can do. I really need to force myself to open flash or photoshop and make something.

i would not recommend tracing, it kills art. try using less reference and instead trying to build your own poses from existing ones, but not duplicating

yeah i really am a beginner when it comes to this. however the skater and the soldier were completely my own. its just ninja gaiden was such a great game

thanks ^^ it'll probably be the first i attempt to animate, but i have to do it properly.

*finger pull back trigger
*head turn slightly
*bullets
*gun cocks back
*shoulder twists
*all of arms pull back
*gun fall back into position

i think theyre the basic elements i need to do
