Something to upload and show

Oh hey I made an upload thread finally. I guess I'll be posting things like rough productions and stuff in here :]

Basically, I had planned to make a short series back in like 2008 but it came to my attention I had nothing planned out. So I spent the last years making up short comics and what things to tell in the cartoons. No big stories since I knew time wise they had to be conveyed in only a minute or so and I would not have the privilege of comics where things can deviate and flow around slowly over many pages. Also I felt my animation skills were not as ready to take on the challenge yet, so I did lots of little practices first. I'll post those up soon too!

So to start if off I made a trailer for my cartoon in progress. So far it shows clips from like 4 short episodes I'm working on. They are only like 1-2 mins each but I'm trying to make the animation really good (or as well as i can manage). Let me know what you think ^^

Lenko: Yeah I basicly thought if I only plan out one episode at a time then I'll take too long to get another ready. So I spent the last years making a bunch of short synopsis ideas and then fleshed out thier storyboards. Then I took moments in the story and animated them at different intervals. Had enough to make a trailer (heh) and finally gave myself a deadline for ep 1. I'm still not sure if I should have tried multi-episodes at once but we'll see if that saved time or not.

It looks really good, it'll be a nice addition to the print comic and like rtil said probably get sales up. from a business point of view i guess it probably makes more since for the content in the animations to be different from the comic, that way people won't disregard the comic as something they've already experienced.

So I thought it over and I guess I'll make this a thread to post WIP, scans and sketchdumps too. So here the first batch....fair warning its all messy and chicken scratch. Most of the time I draw little boxes with things only I can make out and I edit stuff a lot and cross out things too. So here is the first batch (its about the first five pages of my sketchbook).
