movin to Seattle

As I told some of you guys in irc before, i got accepted in an american animation school hopefully much superior to the art school I was studying at not too long ago.
in 5 days im taking a plane to Seattle to get around town and get my stuff ready for classes starting this september.

Im having a lot of mixed feelings hehe. For one I find it exciting to do something like this. if you had asked me if I was going to do this 2 years ago I would probably have laughed in your face. Its almost too good to be true  Plus I kinda like the u.s. because theres always something interesting for me to do and theres funny/different/crazy people n shit.

but on the other hand I have to admit its kinda hard for me to move... I have been living out of my parent´s house for nearly 2 years now and I always look for an excuse not to be here during vacations, even tough I have a decent relation with my family,  visiting my town shortly after being in the u.s. last time made me realize how bad I wanted to just get out of here and why I left in the first place. My town is like a limbo where time does not flow, every time I visit this town its always the same thing, my uncles teling me to choose a different more "serious" carreer like law or engeneering, having to deal with my asshole brother, and overall nothing but false smiles, and people sucking social figure´s dicks for I have no idea what reason... and its still like this every time I visit....makes me kinda sad really cuz its a nice place to live, its just the people that I dont like....but I do think what ill miss the most is some of my close friends.

I didnt have the slightest doubt about moving until yesterday. My mom just not entirely cool about me moving to a different country and my family seems to think I want to be away from them or something.

Still I think Seattle will be a pretty cool experience for me even if I eventually return. So, is there any cool stuff to do in there? I hear it gets pretty beautiful in winter (and I have never seen snow in my life so that will be new for me as well )

also it didn\\\'t snow in the lowlands last winter, but every once and a while we get a good foot of snow. if not that, there\\\'s always plenty of snow in the mountain passes

This winter is supposedly going to have alot of lowland snow, but then again, that might just be rumor.
