but every video is just some boring artsy prick taking 4 hours to open the box and reading every single last piece of writing he can find on the fucking thing GOD DAMN I KNOW HOW TO OPEN A BOX YOU FAT FUCKING TORTOISE GENED PRICK, I KNOW WHAT A PEN IS AND HOW TO ATTACH A USB CABLE JUST SHOW ME HOW THE FUCKING THING WORKS fuck

this isnt even an exception, theyre all like this. some are really weird where they stroke and sniff the box

If you are really looking for a decent tablet, I can recomment you an Aiptek Slim Tablet 600U... serves its purpose, ain't as expensive as a goddamn Wacom (about 80€ I think) and hasn't abandoned me so far

price really isnt that much of an issue

i just dont want to get in over my head before i know what im doing with the thing

if i was buying something to last me forever proffesionally id get a tablet laptop

Also, I use a Medium Wacom Fun Tablet and its really good.
Costs 200$ at the store, but you could probably find one waaaaay cheaper. Found mine for 140$ online.
It has a very smooth paper feel to it I like,  but the pen can be damaged really easily if you drop it too much.
