shane acker went to UCLA so he knew all my animation teachers. i liked his short film version of 9, the feature does look somewhat disappointing though. i really wish he had added something more to his character instead of rehashing it 9 times, really dumb idea... as for the animation, the backgrounds and effects look phenomenal but i can see where rtil is coming from with the characters... the woven texture effect looks very cheap and unrealistic. and im not a fan of the voice acting selection either

but it still has a chance of being a good film, i honestly couldnt tell anything about the storyline from that awful trailer

Oh yeah død snø, ive seen the trailer all over tv recently. Bunch of dead nazi zombies. Ill check it out once it gets on the big screen, i like zombie movies. Ill probably be the first person here who will see it.

ah i saw that one, a good vampire film. there was this lovely subtle feeling through the whole film, i really enjoyed it.

I just saw a movie in which a young boy named Ingemar is sent to his uncle's house in some small town in Sweden in the 50's
I don't remember the name of it because the original title is in Swedish of course but it's pretty cool! Except for the parts that are child porn

Finally saw it the other day, it's probably the best vampire film made in a long time, good story, interesting characters and a stunner of an ending.

Chan plays a character named Steelhead in director Derek Lee’s drama about illegal Chinese immigrants working in Tokyo. The workers are living beneath the law, ignored and despised by Japanese citizens, and forced into dealings with the Yakuza. Steelhead goes to Tokyo initially to search for a lost girlfriend, but eventually comes to lead a group of immigrants in their fight for fair treatment and survival.

It'll be good to see Chan work in a more adult-geared movie for once.  Alot of the movies Hollywood has been cranking out with him are nowheres near as good as the ones before he moved here.

has anyone seen in bruges? excellent film, its perfect dark comedy. fucks with your emotions. collin farrell is usually a prick, but he was actually really good

Let the Right One In was really sweet and a brilliant vampire movie because it wasn't written to make tween girls wet themselves. Seriously, that's the only thing you need to do to make a good vampire flick. The rest writes itself.


In Bruges was my favourite movie of last year.
