Fina-fucking-ly
Koyaanisqatsi
Amazing cinematography with around one and a hlaf hours long, and with some amazing orchestral music, it never outlasts its welcome.  A chilling look on our own lives and co-existance with nature, and I film I would like to see redone with current technology and state of living.  It took me so long to find because I couldn't remember how to spell the name.

In fact it has two sequels, Powaqqatsi focusing on life in third world countries and humanity, and Naqoyqatsi focusing on our lives becoming technology dependent.  All are worth watching.

yeah but the overall tone of the film is really upbeat which is why the violent shit is so jarring

looks really interesting, although the phillip glass song was starting to get on my nerves lmao

It really is the kind of thing you have to be prepared to watch.  Relaxing yet slow-paced and constantly flowing, definately something that wouldn't fare well on TV.

apart from all the heads exploding and shit it was terrible

How could you not like a movie with Morgan Freeman in it, that man's voice can lull me to sleep quicker than anything.

And um James McAvoy, the lead character, has to be the second sexiest man I have ever seen on film. He's gorgeous.

also I've never seen any of the terminator movies but I know that the lady in it uhh Linda Hamilton? Right? She's from Salisbury, Maryland which is where I live  so they talk about her all the time cause no one else famous has ever come from this city lmao.

IMO hes a skinny lil prick, he actually ruined "last king of scotland" for me

i just saw frost nixon and the wrestler.

frost nixon was really fantastic, frank langella could not have been a more convincing nixon. the movie sort of changed my perspective on him a little bit.... nixon is still a pathetic figure but i feel more sorry for him now. really entertaining film too despite it being somewhat slow paced. the drunk phone conversation might just be good enough for langella to win best actor over sean penn and mickey rourke

the wrestler was also very good, but unrelentingly depressing. it also changed my views on wrestling a lot... as a sport, it is definitely not "fake," just "staged." even with the planned outcomes all the hits are real and you see the toll it takes on mickey rourkes character. it was kind of shot like a dogma 95 film (if any of you even know what that is) and i liked it but man its difficult to watch, tragic as shit

i still need to see benjamin button but ive heard mixed reviews. milk i would also like to see, it looks like a good movie but my friends would call me gay just for seeing it lmao

MGM put the entire Koyaanisqatsi movie on youtube on an account.

For those of you to lazy to rent it

Banjamin Button is fantastic, but it's almost like Forrest Gump in a way.
Well, one of the writers of Forrest Gump is in it so that explains it.
Still very good though!

benjamin button was really good, but it was also extremely long and it dragged in some parts. it's definitely worth seeing tho

yeah LA times gave it a bad review but everyone else ive talked to liked it even if they were disappointed with the similarity to forrest gump and the long running time. i also love david fincher, fight club is amazing

as much as everyone hates tom cruise (including myself) valkyrie was not only a good thriller it was also historically accurate

i honestly think they panned it because of their dislike for cruise, which imo is unfair

That does sound unfair, especially when you consider that the movie has some good supporting actors, Kenneth Branagh and Bill Nighy to name a couple. It's also nice to see a film showing good germans during the war.

Another fantastic film i eagerly await the release of is Let the Right One In. Anybody seen it? Whats it like?
<@salutations> i just ate 5 guys for the first time
<@salutations> my heart kinda hurts
<Ry99an> you mean

actually, i don't think  benjamin button resembled forrest gump at all. It was like "The Notebook" but with the male and female roles reversed, and it was less sappy

rtil

really? i think it looks terrible

the characters are boring
