im really curious about it but i dont like how its similar to corpse bride in a sense that the real world is all gray and dreary and the land of the dead is all colorful and musical

lavatory lovestory wasnt very good

But I do wanna see This Way Up, so that might change my mind.
Oktapodi was cool
Lavatory Lovestory was ok, but I don't think it's as awesome as the other shorts shown.

I watched the bear in one of my classes on friday, fuckin great movie

I just got back from watching Slumdog Millionaire, and it was fantastic. It did have some sort of plot holes to it.  The movie kept going since there wasn't much filler to it. It had some really disturbing parts to it too.

If anyones looking for good movies to watch there's one i saw a while back in Film Studies called "Straw Dogs", a little slow to take off but it's just so good overall. Sure the film got banned for a while for having gang rape in it but still good stuff none the less.

the entire third act ruined it

dont get me wrong i still enjoyed the movie and it deserved to be nominated but the love story was hokey hollywood bullshit. frost nixon deserves best picture
