you're not supposed to put your work in my topic anyway, 2poc.

here is the last assignment in character design at my school: superheroes. you make yourself the hero, and a partner in you class the villian. i sort of switched it around and made myself the villian.

my character is Noise Machine. I was blinded as a child when a little girl opened up a can of shaken pop in my face, and the acid burned my eyes. in the hospital i realized i could 'see' without my eyes, and i had superior hearing which could allow me to navigate and know what is around me without my eyes. so, i left the hospital, bandages and all. i started putting sound equipment all over me, and used it to my advantage. i carry a keyboard and huge speakers can come out of my back, emitting painfully loud low and high frequencies to mess up what's around me.

one time i sneezed and a girl was walking under a construction site, and the sneeze was so loud a bunch of construction equipment fell on the girls head, including two large screws and a plug for a huge outlet. she survived, but everything she touched after that was electrocuted, and almost everything metal would cling to her. so she vowed to destroy the person that ruined her life. and that was me. she became 9 Volt, and used her new unwanted powers to learn how to manipulate metal in manners she wanted, and channel her electric energy.

little did i know the girl i had given the powers to was the girl who opened the can of soda in my eyes as a child. once we both knew who eachother were, we were both pitted eachother forever. wreckless with no regard for what is around us, we destroy and eliminate for only one target -eachother.

wicked art work but in the first side view of "9 Volt" her face looks a little protruding, like a mouse or something of that caliber. awesome battle scenes though, they look vary... epic.

the drawings of noise machine looked really cool except for the back view of him. Something about that looked off to me

you did a lot of great stuff on the fight scenes. the positions and coloring were great

you should turn this into another series along with freetown and all of the other cartoobns you make that way you'll never have to time tyo finish anything

Great works Rtil. I do agree with everyone else. The turn arounds for 9 volt, her side pose looks awkward. And i'm partial noise makers extremely broad shoulders. They seem to unnatural, and even painful for the character. Everything else though is pretty dead on. The lighting is pretty neat and the action shots are really stellar.

eyy none of that this is a charicature of a real person close to me that would be bad
anyway never gonna touch these again, updated model sheet for 9 volt and added a real bg to the 1st action shot

It's inspiring. I love it. And your designs are so crazy. I really hope you finish the one with the girl smoking, it's awesome. I love these new ones also

i want to finish that painting real bad. i think i'm going to bring it into painter and see if i can do it there, because i'm having some issues getting the feel i want in photoshop. thanks , doodle

that seems to be the consensus, and i can agree on that since they are actually full formed and dynamic

Also I was wondering with noise machine, what happens to his arms when those bandages unwrap. They just seem to vanish. Im guessing its intentional, but an explanation would be nice : (

he begins to unwravel due to the intense amount of sound waves he is emitting through himself. i mostly did it because it looks cool.
