I really liked GTA 1.

the story for this game was great until packie came and fucked it all up
then for the whole second half of the game all you do is work for packie, his brothers, and the mafia, who are all boring
and every mission is either chase a guy and kill him or go and fight through a ton of enemies to kill a single guy

i think it was possible to fly a tank without cheats yeah you just had to get a lot of momentum by shooting backwards
