i saw them on an old episode of the chris rock show and instantly fell in love

dunno if this is the real video first thing that popped up on youtube

it says on the description it was for some kids video class so no this is not the official video
plus the quality of it sucks they would never show something like that on mtv

They most certainly are not.




I like cake alot. All their songs have a Bob Dylan-esque mumbly spokenword style to the singing.

I'm sure most of you have heard short skirt long jacket by them.

I don't mind short skirt long jacket, though it's their worst song.

And yeah I think it did get animated a billion times.

cake is great, prolly in my top 10. i've never actually seen any of their videos other than the cover for I Will Survive which is wonderful. come to think of it they have some of the best covers out there
