Boys Don't Cry is incredibly overrated considered the theme was been tackled way better in a number of old Japanese movies. Also, Hilary Swank is a very mediocre actress.


Don't get me wrong, the movie is fine, but I'd never say you should see it unless you're very interested in sexuality struggles.

I did not. I grinned. Widely. The movie is obviously retarded, but it was all about fun. Even though she dies its fun. It's obviously just not your tastes. I don't mind things that are stupid when they're creatively stupid.

I never found scary movie fun. And the big difference is in the film making. Moulin Rouge was an artist film in alot of way. The director's approach to the material made it a 'good' movie instead of something similar to Scary Movie, which is what it would have been otherwise.


Besides, the Oscars mean absolutely nothing anyway. Michael Bay is one of the directors in the Academy, and he has a say in who wins Best Director.

the first one is the only funny one the rest are god awful. nothin can compare to the other "movies" though. epic movie and date movie changed my life because they are the worst things ever printed on celluloid

I thought they were all pretty darn bad, but I laughed pretty hard during the first, and during the third ones. A guy cocks a shovel in the third one and a shotgun shell pops out. I don't know why, because it's the stupidest thing ever, but that made me nearly piss myself laughing.
