it has nothing to do with logic, it has to do with how pollsters work. opinion pollers can only call landlines, and will likely only call people who vote often or at least voted in the last election. this is typically a limited age bracket that excludes newly registered voters and people who don't have landlines, which would be anyone my age plus ten or so years. reason being is that with cellphones people no longer need to have a home phone line. it is illegal for pollsters to call cell phones.
