how is that even possible on a keyboard?

It's going to be incredibly difficult for you unless you map your keyboard to resemble a Hitbox (the fighting game controller I use). Map left to 'a', down to 's',  right to 'd', and up to 'space', then just roll your fingers across asd and end it with your thumb hitting space.

Here's a video of how it works. You won't be able to do slides because it's a keyboard, but you should be able to do the 360, and that's all you'll need in Skullgirls.

i use a 360 controller personally. don't think i'd want to play skullgirls on a keyboard

soup

i had a wired adapter for my wireless 360 controller, but when i plugged it into my laptop i got a bunch of danger power surge warnings
coz it's old or all the wirings frayed, not sure

otherwise yeh, i wouldnt want to use the keyboard either

"He was shown the smallness and tinsel emptiness of the little Earth gods, with their petty, human interests and connections - their hatreds, rages, loves and vanities; their craving for praise and sacrifice and their demands for faiths contrary to reason and nature."

"...it stimulates the part of the brain called "shatners-bassoon", and that's the bit of the brain that deals with...time perception..."

RichChap

the wired 360 controllers are pretty great despite the always shitty xbox d-pad.

i have the game on ps3 though

A friend of mine played SF with the keyboard and had his keys mapped like that. He always played Zangief doing bullshit moves due to the key-mapping haha.

Gilthwixt

I actually just picked up SF to get serious recently myself, and I want to learn Zangief as backup just because it's so intuitive on the hitbox.

BluPhoenix

i picked up doa5 and p4a to get serious

now here we are
[12:59 AM] elm: yea honestly if you dont want to cum on elmer fudds bald head whats wrong with you
[07:49.46] <+slack> cum erupts from the dick at an alarming rate
[07:49.59] <+slack> it will blast off and slap the wall at like 40 mph

rtil

lol, someone figured out how to play as Marie in online multiplayer. dev team is aware and working on a fix

rtil

skullgirls is going to arcades in japan thanks to studio French Bread - their game "Under Night In-Birth" will feature Filia as celebration of Skullgirls releasing in Japanese arcades through the NESiCAxLive digital distribution system. as for the change in art style here, they are actually drawing all the Filia sprites themselves for their game

Gilthwixt

I remember seeing a combo video for UNiB and being pretty impressed, they've come a long way since Melty Blood. I don't play fighting games at all anymore though, my Hitbox broke right around the time SG came out on Steam. In general though I just kind of lost interest because of how hard it is keep up with the scene and find people the same skill level
