Certain parts of Sonic Adventure 2 were bad but I really enjoyed some of the level designs. Also, Chao garden. I wish they'd bring that back.

everyone keeps talking about sonic adventure 2, when imo sonic battle was probably the best

I usually enjoy fighters designed like Sonic Battle but the campaign was way too much of a boring grind fest and incredibly unfair at some points.

i am amazed how unbelievably bad sonic adventure has held up over time, i went back and played through it the other day, almost none of it is redeeming whatsoever, but i remember loving it ~10 years ago.

Im actually sorta excited for this though, which is more than i can say for any sonic game since sonic 06, the gameplay looks actually not broken for once.

also knuckles having fingers is the biggest problem i have with this game. besides that it's called sonic boom and i fucking love that song and it has skrillex in the trailer so what's not to enjoy????????????????

i don't think sonic adventure 2 was the best sonic game, it had some really boring shit in it. especially tails stuck in a fucking robot.

the best sonic game for me was sonic & knuckles. the best 3d sonic game is sonic generations.

sonic adventure is great, but it hasn't aged well unfortunately.

^^^  I defiantly agree here. I recently had a moment where I downloaded the DC version of SA (by no means a fan of the DX version) and played on the big screen, defiantly aged but its more nostalgia than anything. I can't help but to love the original Sonic adventure, especially in 1080p.

Sonic Boom on the other hand seems alright. Knuckles height throws me off more than anything, good thing they made him look like the strong guy in the group. I do miss the boxer gloves though. I can't wait to see how the game turns out.

It can't possibly be worse than Sonic 06. I welcome new designs and gameplay perspectives, especially after hearing that the fellow who directed the jak and daxter games is heading the development. Those were some fun games.
