cause i recently saw the new designs + some clips, and tumblr is going fucking bonkers over it all right now.
i still can't get over some of the design changes... the fucking bindings on his shoes make no sense.

but i'm still giving a little hope that this may turn out half decent for a bit.

i don't mind the bindings and scarf so much because of the desert theme, however knuckles design really bothers me. he looks like one of those "skipped leg day" swolebros.

i will still watch the show, it could end up being good. i hope they don't get too tied up in the target demographic.

I do not like these new VAs. At all.

I still think sonic was at its best in regards to narrative when that some slightly more serious overtones though (aka adventure 2). At least then it felt like it was something original

i don't think sonic adventure 2 was the best sonic game, it had some really boring shit in it. especially tails stuck in a fucking robot.

the best sonic game for me was sonic & knuckles. the best 3d sonic game is sonic generations.

sonic adventure is great, but it hasn't aged well unfortunately.

I kinda liked the story of Sonic Heroes. Actually, I liked the plot quite a lot, I mean the game was shit and had shit gameplay but the ending was cool as fuck.

Also if this turns out to be a dud as so many other Sonic cartoons, I'll probably just watch every episode of Sonic The Hedgehog (the one with the freedom fighters) again. That cartoon probably still has one of the best stories as far as kids cartoons go.
And then I will get really mad at the ending again.
