for a 3ds camera it's forgivable.

she's cute, i like the hair and hat! there's definitely some anatomy issues, i'm sure you know that. taking it one step at a time, i think the biggest thing to fix here is the shoulder area. more than anything, the shoulders should be wider, to accommodate the chest and match the hips . because of how tiny the shoulder line is, it almost is like she doesn't have shoulders. here's what i mean

it also gives room for that 'pinch' between the chest and the hips that makes the 'hourglass' shape. not all women have it of course but there is generally a tapering between the chest and hips.

for the angle you were trying to get, you'd just need to switch the overlap where the arm and the chest meet. but i understand what you mean - just keep drawing every day and don't stop! even if it's something small, it's worth it for the practice.

I think there's something wrong with my scanner. I used an 8B pencil for the outlines and the finished thing looks great, but here it looks like black crayon. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe I should've just got a tablet.
