many scanners try to auto-detect what you are scanning and mess up the colors. try going into full manual mode on the proprietary software and adjusting the settings to your liking. you should be able to find a way to get a good scan.

I'd say her eye would be a bit rounder but other than that, it looks great anatomy wise.

how can you say it looks anatomically great, it's missing a fucking nose

rtil

no nose is a more forgivable stylistic choice, i mean she is a cyclops so we're already suspending our disbelief to a certain extent. i think her arms and body are a little wobbly though, anatomically speaking. if i had to guess i would say when you were drawing her you went very slowly when you made a mark, and there was no initial sketch done underneath it. if i had a suggestion i'd say to try drawing more loosely and freely , and doing a light sketch first that you can go over later when you feel like you've got the anatomy right.

rtil

maybe reference your favorite artists when you draw your sketches, or study their sketches to see how they construct their figures.

The ear is a little high. Ears usually line up horizontally with the nose or slightly above. In cartoons and anime it's common practice to place the ears somewhat lower, it just makes the facial proportions come together well.

i think there's some improvement. if your main focus is the human body it would do you well to study anatomy. your proportions are fairly accurate, but the joints and body parts feel a bit rubbery to me where they bend. if you study anatomy, you can put your good sense of proportion to better use to understand how body parts join and bend, and where soft and sharp edges are.
