I have no clue how you guys have the same desktops for soo long, I have to constantly change things otherwise it gets really boring ._.

i don't understand what the point of a background image is, i rarely even see my desktop

yeah over the past 4 years or so I've used a total of.. I think 3. I'll admit a blank color is boring, although however I hear it's recommended to use one if you draw or do graphic design or something. Apparently has to do with brightly colored wallpapers messing with your vision / view of the colors on what you're working on. Doubt it really makes a difference (if you can even see your wallpaper at all).
