I want to know more about Ron, but I haven't yet to see or read any sources on his stances. So I'm looking for unbiased (or as unbiased they can get) data about him.

Wikipedia is a decent source regarding his positions and history.

both of these articles were published on the 29th

the first one details an instance where former American Idol contestant Kelly Clarkson endorses Ron Paul in her twitter feed and proceeds to be bombarded by angry fans accusing her of supporting racism and homophobia

the second one has the transcript of a right wing talk show radio host demonizing ron paul as someone that wishes to 'homosexualize' (lmao) the american military

This is getting pretty entertaining

Pretty much, but not paying attention to what was in his newsletter was a stupid move. Some people feel he wrote them, some feel he didn't write them, and some do not know what to think of them. Regardless of what anyone thinks on the matter, he made a lot of money off of them and some of it was essentially racist propaganda. With the way our media works, that is not something any politician wants on their political record. I found it funny when it became a hot topic again because I originally thought the issue was resolved in the last election, but he's a frontrunner now so let's find any dirt we can I guess.

but they weren't his newsletters, but rather newsletters printed with his name all over them. he never wrote anything for them, and i never heard of him making money off of them.

regardless, the point of the dirt is to paint ron paul as a racist. and ron paul is not a racist, so the point is moot.

He didn't make money off of them? I heard he did. o_O Wow, the situation is even more ridiculous than I thought.

rtil

i don't know for sure. but i do know that he never endorsed them and never wrote a single piece for them, and that they were published under his name without his permission. if he got money for that, that would be weird.

The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul

Well, this is a touching political ad...

Wade is not gay, read his profile! It's sad that you would use sexual orientation as a joke, shows that you have no real sense of humor.

rtil

soldiers can get in trouble for endorsing candidates, they're actually not allowed to do it

that being said, they probably did it on purpose not knowing that

W.A.C.

Hmm... Well, I just hope that was a technical error and not purposeful censorship. :/ While I'm disappointed Ron Paul didn't get first, Paul, Romney, and especially Santorum did very well tonight. Rick Santorum's victory was a major shocker. Also, rofl @ this tweet from Ron Paul's campaign.

rtil

rick santorum is a fucking joke, as corrupt as they come and is one of those neocons that is proud to proclaim he's ready to inject all of his religious beliefs into government the second he steps into office

but i guess it's no surprise that voters who are dumb enough to vote for a corporate shill like mitt romney are just as eager to vote for rick santorum

still, paul with >21% of the iowa vote is huge for him. afaic, it's between paul, romney and santorum now.
