i'm not concerned with trying to prove my point, im concerned with beliefs being true. i have a suspicion that the porn industry is probably not very healthy, but i don't have any proof or evidence of this, so i never used it as an argument. some other people were making claims, so i challenged them to organize it. i might do research sometime, but i'm not going to pull a statistic out of thin air and act like it's proof. if you really think i would do that (and i suspect you do), i have to ask why you have such a negative view of my integrity.

Worst aspect of legal pornography is the spread of sexual diseases. It's a major damn problem. Some California lawmakers were thinking about mandating condom use in porn but that would have been disastrous. spreading an s.t.d. is not inherently immoral. the only time it could be is if you did it on purpose to harm someone (people actually do this) or lie about having one just so that your partner will fuck you in ignorance. if both people know about its existence and consent, then there is nothing immoral about it. and if neither person knows of its existence, it's not immoral, it's just an accident. it just is what it is.

s.t.d's only become capable of being deemed immoral if they are linked to immoral activities. otherwise, they're just something that happens.

I never viewed STDs as immoral, just an unfortunate consequence form the risky industry. I remember watching some video in the past and thought the person said "24 thousand", not "24 hundred" for some statistic so I thought the stats were worse. After doing more research, yeah, it's nowhere near the problem I thought it was.
