Well one of the main benefits is that you can fully play games on the controller too.

Well anyways, I think it looks cool, I'll probably pick one up a while after it's released. In all honesty Nintendo's conference if anything made me more interested in getting a 3DS sooner rather than later.

Although as far as e3 goes in general, there were a lot more others things that I'm more excited for

was there a large demand for controllers you could also play games on? i've never heard anyone complain about not being able to play games on their controllers. that's what people buy TV's for. how much are these fucking controllers going to cost? it can't be cheap hardware

Yeah even back when the touchscreen controller was just a rumor, I was already feeling nervous about the price. I mean, even standard controllers these days are like $50. But who knows, the NGP (Vita) turned out to be like $100 cheaper than everyone expected, so maybe we'll get lucky.

And about the batteries, they said the controllers have rechargeable battery packs (thank god)

i work with kids every day they are gr8 unless their parents are dipshits

i would get a console for my kids at a young age (5-12 years) because that is a suitable age grouping for shitty consoles and stupid console games like mario, sonic, shadow of the colossus and modern warfare

Most likely not. The whole design and playability seems ridiculous to me. The HD Zelda game looks very beautiful though. I'll give that much credit to that. Don't mean to be stupid, but is HD Zelda Skyward Sword? Makes sense if it is 'cause all the die-hard fanboys would instantly buy the Wii U if that's one of the launch titles.
