here is where we make our choices for the "best game of all time", (based on quality and a lasting image its projected on the industry) your "favorite game of all time"(game that you would want infinite content for) and pick for "worst game of all time"(worst piece of fucking shit you've ever played, new or old)

i guess i'll go first

BEST GAME

it may be dated and look like shit but it's still a blast to play. as the first fps i ever jumped into, it made itself clear and displayed the intensity, the frustration, the joy (and sometimes horror) of the genre. doom, quake 3, counter-strike, no other game could give as much thrills as the first time playing hl's campaign, and i had wondered why- now i realize it's because that half life wasn't a game where 'bigger was better', it's a crazy trip into 'survival of the fittest' territory- it's a game that is truly the sum of it's parts. playing half life is a fantastic endeavor and should be played by everyone.  

FAVORITE GAME

fuck yes

splinter cell had been a favorite for a while but when chaos theory came out... welp. the game looked fucking fantastic and it played fantastic, engine work that was done to chaos theory made the game feel a lot less stiff and added new dimension to the stealth game that felt closer than ever to the action. not to mention feeling like a stealthy badass after sneaking through every mission unseen. oh yeah and there's co-op, that shit's tight as well.

WORST GAME

fuck this game

"what would happen if frank miller made a game"

as a game that makes that claim with horrid ripoffs of the style, well i can assure you that it might not be AS shit

wins the award for worst control scheme ever, dumbest plot ever, outstanding technical issues, worst overall game

This game and its sequel are amazing. Great story telling and gameplay make me a happy girl.

favorite: skies of arcadia

Yeah about that southpark game, I honestly barely remember it. Although I know for a fact that superman is far worse, but I've never played it
