this is a drawing i did for another class and i decided to xperiment a little bit with colors/deliberately weird highlights. and i think its kind of a hit and miss attempt  but a lot of people seem to like it for some reason lol

so here. a nefarious faun

i think your coloring is lagging behind the improvements you have made in sketching and gesture work. these colors are just really muddy and flat to me, i don't think they really add anything to the image. it's still a solid character though of course.

i love the work on the faun. i don't know too much on coloring, but i think in some areas, how you shaded with the blue against green really worked well.

Really nice poses there, do you use a reference or draw from memory, Eman? I wouldn't worry too much about the weapons in this piece, those should probably be last in terms of the composition being done. Beard man's got a wicked beard, but his right arm is looking a little too thin in the forearm area. Of course, he's probably sitting on something and not floating in the air, haha.

well you have to go to a special room to see these people. and they are usually naked, and mostly women.

yeah when i went to art school the teacher was all about life drawings but she never managed to find anyone sick enough to flail their organs in the general direction of a bunch of 16-17 year olds

but  seriously everyone here is really professional and respectful. when i studied in monterrey life drawing class existed with the sole purpose to rise the awkward levels where everyone created shitty drawings that didnt look anything like the model. it was a waste of time

an animation excersise. i wanted  to find out how much ridiculous stretching and squashing i can get away with.
