Hey everyone. its been a while. i do have a few drawings/doodles around but im real shy about showing my art these days them because they often are very incomplete/gay

photoshop technioques/general art critique wouldnt hurt








(this one was a total fuckup. how do i make my textures NOT look like shit like in this example?)

lookin at your first pic i can see that you're mostly painting with translucent colours. instead, paint in 'blocks' of solid colours and merge them later. stay away from anything fancy for now

also just as an exercise, try doing a lineless painting. it helps with representing 3D form and you won't have to 'depend' on your lines as much

also i really like that flamin tribesman but i'm no good with textures so i cant help you there

i would avoid the use of black as a tone. i like the bottom two where you are using blues and cooler colors instead. but i also wouldn't go too overboard with the blue backlight.. it's kind of overdone in the concept art world and they don't fit these pieces anyway

in the drawing of the guy with the boxing gloves, one of the shoulders and one of the knees are positioned higher than the other. in general, your anatomy has improved a lot and i love the way you draw animals

well in the picture i used as reference (from which i tried to mimic the pose as close as possible) thats exactly whats happening. but i can see how it would read as a mistake.
