I never actually watched Wal-E, although I really meant to.  Animation looks great as always, but there really is no point in commenting on that.  Its the unique story lines that bring me to love pixar, and the fact that they dont jerk out their old franchises for sequels.

Toy Story 3

Clever opening. I actually WON'T be surprised by how they manage to make a plot out of such a concept, that and I like the design of the flying machine house. To be honest, I'm more looking forward to Toy Story 3 for nostalgia's sake, but I'm sure this will be enjoyable either case.

The design of the characters is unique as always. I still prefer when pixar uses non human characters.

Meet the Robinsons wasn't TOO bad. And Bolt looks to up their ante, almost back to old style story telling.


The Incredibles is probably one of the best animation with pretty well done human characters. They had to work to get there though. Toy Story's Andy looked like a freak, and Boo was a tiny, tiny step-up, you can only forgive them because she was a baby, and in some lights, looked cute, with those huge, huge, huge googley eyes of hers.

Dreamworks is doing pretty well too. I noticed that in their trailer for Monsters vs Aliens, they are trying to branch out in human character models and it works. Now they just need to get their animation down. And maybe tell a story worth hearing.
