i don't like the mix of western and japanese cultures. this show obviously has something to do with christianity

I think what Anigen means is the mix of western (ie european) periods portrayed by japanese animation.

The background artwork is incredible, but the style and color of the characters is absolutely atrocious. Very bland. Even if the show is good, I don't think I could overlook the awful character artwork and coloring.

blood is basically the only anime i might ever watch even though I hate it considering the main character is always bitching about how she doesnt want to fight even though some giant beast has just raped her little brother and stabbed her dad 50 times

ugh, ok i'll try but it looks horrible. and just because they've been successful in the past doesn't mean that this will be good.
