I was gone, FOR SO LONG

tekkon was pretty inspirational to me, I really loved  all the intricate details and even warmed up to the character design.  Story wise it had weird spacing , and was very dry in parts.  I originally watched it in Japanese with no subtitles and pictured more poignant and  dramatic dialogue

I've never watched it in anything but Japanese with no subtitles. I don't care what they're saying. They're dumb kids and stuff.

I love the character designs. They say "fuck you" to everything people normally think about when designing a character.

But yes, the backgrounds and imagery are what really make the movie. I also enjoy weird spacing and erratic storytelling. Why would you ever want to be conventional anyway?

Already done it, sorry to spoil your fun. And yes, it's great.

Apparently MTV is producing and English dub of it. That has me worried.
