i am dead

<+wwchicken> then i turned the light back on and there it was again
<+wwchicken> so i thought, its an invisible alien
<+wwchicken> but hes scared of the dark

I think it's a might queer that I don't like Salad fingers as much as anything else he has made. Not that I dislike Salad Fingers I just like anything else he has made more.

i havent noticed him submitting to NG lately
I have more of a life writing this review at 1145 pm than you guys do making these movies. . .

he definitely has some neat ideas in his bag of tricks, but salad fingers just seems like one of those bland cartoons that try to be surreal to look cool

and his animations tend to look kind of stale

i didnt know until i came to tba that rtil was the one who did pallid fingers, yet i had it on my favorites

yeah i feel the same. the sockolops and spoilsbury toast boy series are much better

also the stand alone cartoons, like pulch and the child that smelt funny

i think my ultimate favourite of his work is the latest model

My favorite of the things he did that I've watched is probably Ptikobj or whatever it was called.

yea Firth is one of my favorites. his stand alone cartoons are usually better, if rushed. health reminder is my favorite followed by his Four Cartoons For "Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe". but yea i can see where a lot of people would think the animation and art isn't the best, but it has gotten a lot better.

i also really like the video for his band the grape digging sharon fruits

He has a very dry wry sense of humor. And even though his cartoons artwise and animation-wise arent anything ground breaking, I always believed the way they're done is married to the humor just right.

He was working on animations for Jim Ether's movie "Onward to Calgary"
All that's done by now though.

Ive always been impressed with his ability to create so much atmosphere with such simple visuals. His choice of music and subtle sound effects are always perfect.

man i love the newest vid where jim is like "ok the movie basically sucks balls and im completely redoing it"

i think the dry humor of guys like firth and ether will soon leak into pop culture a lot more. theres not much stuff out there like it right now.

I think it might smear into pop culture a bit too, but alot of the jokes are so subtle and I really just don't think the mass audience is smart enough for some of it. Like The Men from up the Stairs.
