yeah I'm gonna agree with you here, I loved Invader Zim right up until it started getting whored out at Hot Topic and all these idiots at my junior high school and whatnot started parading around the useless merchandise.

But I still think the show itself was way better than a lot of crap that was being aired on Nickelodeon.

But I don't think it's a 90's cartoon considering, "First broadcast on March 30, 2001,".

I'm sure glad that Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi shit stopped getting aired though.

I know that the Clerks cartoon was made in late 1999 but didn't air until summer of 2000.

The show was almost nothing like the movie but it was still pretty funny, most notably the episode that was "finished by the korean animators"

and I believe that they were the first show to ever take a jab at Family Guy

...Ahh childhood. I wish I had watched Aeon Flux instead maybe I'd have a better drawing style instead of being hindered by 3-4 years of solid Akira Toriyama ripoffs.
