blue oyster cult doesnt have enough good songs for an entire game based around them imo

Well the fact its coming from Activision is proof of that. I kinda prefer the appproach EA is taking with Rock Band where you just pay to download full albums, or the songs you like rather then forking out for a whole new game. Hard to say which one makes more money i suppose.

its stupid to devote an entire game to one band, they should just do another 'genre' like the 80's one

Yeah, devoting a game to just one band would limit out a huge amount of other styles that people like.
