well i mean i wanted to learn english to talk to people on the internet when i was maybe 12

but now i can/have to utilise it in countless fields

so basically the motive, in this case, is a fickle thing

now im using it to say something dumb to you tommorow ill be doing aschool assignments in english so yeah

also kind of related, but I work in a nightclub, behind the bar, and it's fucking horrendous hours. The music is good though!

What do they play? I'd like to imagine the average nightclub over there plays better music than the ones here, but that might be my Europhilia talking.

Depends. I work Top Floor, which varies depending on which night. Old school London Grime is Thursdays/Saturdays, stuff like Roll Deep, Wiley before he went solo and mainstream,  Musical Mob, Ruff Sqwad, the like. Naturally, main floor plays your clubland classics, and so you get a lot of huarache/snapback/vest wearing melts strutting in.

Bottom floor plays exclusively old school R&B/Funk. Basically Stevie Wonder's Superstition back to back. Also the few times I've worked downstairs, everyone always orders a "double coke and vodka". Do you mean a double vodka with coke?!? Do you want a single shot in a tall ball glass, filled with coke?!? Still charge them £2 anyway, so I'm not complaing.

Caught someone trying to spike a girl's drink just this Thursday, and I literally called him out and he tried to bolt for the door, but those bouncers are on the ball 24/7! (or at least, from 10:30PM til 3AM)
